Legislative Day 3

The highlight of Legislative Day 3, for me, was Bishop Curry's sermon at the daily Community Eucharist. Followed by the cash piling up at the base of the font--a positive protest to the fact that we have no offertory collection at all our worship services.

The legislative sessions in the House of Deputies, morning and afternoon, were characterized by forays into the procedural weeds, with some confusion on amendments and re-referrals and so on.

In the evening, the Committess on Structure and on Program, Budget & Finance (PB&F), and Prayer Book, Music & Liturgy were meeting. Our deputation spreads itself far and wide, sending folks to these important meetings so we can report developments.
